FLORIDA STABLE IN LEAD Holds Position at Head of Winning-Owners in Cuba- Oriental Park Meeting Succeeding. HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 11. The Florida stable, in charge of trainer .F. Walker, still holds its position at the head of the Avinning owners at Oriental Park. The W. R. Coe stable is in second place, Avith E. F. Whitney third. The veteran jockey, A. Pickens, still leads the list of Avinning riders by a Avide margin. J. Dawson, the apprentice under contract to James Fitzsimmons, is the best of the young riders here. This youngster has de-Aeloped surprisingly hero this Avinter, and next year under the care of Mr. Fitzsimmons should give a good account of himself around New York Despite the Avretched run of weather and heaAy track conditions for the past month, the crowds haAe been exceptionally large. Last Sunday, the largest croAvd of the Avinter season passed the turnstiles. This crowd in-I eluded many first time visitors to the island.
