Won handily; second and third driving. MOON CniLD moved up fast on the outside and. passing RUNPRESERVE in the stretch, drew away into the lead and gamely withstood the challenge of OUR BOY at the end. The latter was shuffled rearward soon after the start, but closed a gap and finished rapidly wearing the winner down. SHASTA EXPRESS was prominent throughout and ran well. RUNPRESERVE raced into a long lead early, but commenced to tire when turning for home. HARVEY S. raced in improved form from a slow beginning. LITTLE SHASTA was knocked back soon after the start.
