1924 SPANISH RACING SEASON First Meeting of New Year to Be Held at Barcelona April 20. The Spanish racing season of 1924 will open at Barcelona Sunday, April 20. Racing will be held there every Sunday from that date until June 15. There will he racing at Seville April 21, 23 and 25. At Madrid meetings are to be held Sundays and Thursdays from May 4 to July 10. The Grand Prix will be run there June 15. The royal meeting at Aranjuez will be held May 1 and May 8. In September there will be racing at San Sebastian, but the sport will be conducted on a much more modest scale than in past seasons. The Grand Prix, once a prize of 500,000 pesetas, will carry a value of 100,000 pesetas this year. The Prix Georges Mar-quet will carry a similar endowment.
