NEWCOMER TO FRENCH TURF Ogden Mills Will Race a Stable of Quality in France During the Cfbming Season. SPECIAL CORRESPOXDEXCE. PARIS, France, March 7. This season will be marked by the first appearance of Ogden Mills colors on the French turf. The Marquis de Saint Sauveur, who managed Lord Derbys horses in France, is also looking after the Mills horses. Ho bought a fine looking three-year-old in Ireland for a long price, Pacific, a bay colt by Grosvenor Pacienca. This is an important looking horse of proved class in Ireland with four victories at Baldoyle, Leo-pardstown and at The Curragh. He moves well and has all the earmarks of a crack. At any small meeting you will see Ogden Mills and his daughter, Lady Granard, which is proof that they like the racing for itself and not for the social side of it. When people go racing as I have seen them at Com-piegne, ninety kilometres from Paris, it means they are real horse lovers.
