The latter ran a gocd race and, under a stronger rider, would have won, NEW REAFTY set a good pace, but tired after going three f arters. MEXICAN TEA raced into the lead, but quit badly in the last sixteenth. THE REAPER ran —11 PRIVILEGE quit after going three-quarters. NIMKOI went prominently for most of the way. Won driving; second and third the same. MAXIMANEH raced gamely and gaining steadily, finished fast and scored a lucky victory. DITCH GIRL set a good pace, but swerved lcpeatcdly and was weakly ridden at the end. BIT HONEY was ridden wide on the turns, and ran a good race. MIDNIGHT ROSE closed I big gap. The latter raced into the lead on the baekstretch and made a game but tiring finish. CARNARVON set the early pace, and raced well throughout. FLOW KB SHOP raced poorly. FLYING PRINCE came from far back on the stretch. SEQlEL raced up fast after going the first quarter, and finished well. NAPOO swerved badly in the stieich. but finished gamely. COMMANDER McMEEKIN showed speed, but tired in the stretch.
