COP BEARER began slowly, but raced past the others and, coming through the stretch with ! a great rush, outstayed LOlIS RUBENSTEIN and won going away. LOUIS RUBENSTEIN was hard ridden all the way and raced into the lead in the stretch, but could not withstand the winners rush. BOLIVAR BOND set a fast early pace, but tired near the end. GIBLON ran a good race and would have P won. but for meeting interference in the stretch. LORD MARTIN raced well and finished close up. DUDLEY closed a big gap and finished well. SUN SPOT made up ground. BOBS MARY f reed and set a fast pace, but quit in the last sixteenth. MISS MISCHIEF set the pace briefly and quit. Overweights— Sporty McGee, 2 pounds; Annie Lyle, 1; J. G. BREAKFAST BELL scorned to sulk in the early running, but came with a rush through the stretch and would have won in another stride. SAN VICENTE made up ground and finished fast and gamely. WHITE STAR set a fast early pace aud tired in the stretch. EXTRA EDITION tired. NEWMARKET was always far hack.
