LITTLE ROSE ran well and stayed longer than usual. MELCHEN ran well and finished gamely. ESTHER GRINDELL could never get up. PRINCESS SETH l egan poorly. PAT set a fast pace and had no mishaps, but tired. WEE DEAR rushed up into a contending position after lieginning slowly, but tiled and swerved out through the stretch. NORTH BREEZE came with a rush through the stretch and headed RUNCHIEF in the closing strides. RUNCHIEF had no mishaps and tired in the stretch. SLEIGH BELLS quit after showing early speed. PIRATE McGEE was hard ridden and could never get to the leaders, but held the others safe. EAU GALLIE showed early speed, but tired in the last quarter. PALADIN pulled up lame.
