Won handily; second and third : driving. 11AF displayed the most speed from the start and, making the pace fast, won going away. , GAD, away well, made a threatening challenge in the stretch and had no mishaps. GIPSY FLYKR swerved to the inside, but finished fast ami outgamed FIRMAMENT in the final drive. FIRMAMENT finished with a rush. CATHERINE DOUGLAS snowed early speed. Won driving; second and third the same. ROCK BASS displayed much speed and, jumping well, made a bad landing at the eighth jump, but recovered quickly and, overcoming interference on the far turn, finished resolutely and took the lead when CANAQUE ran out, but was doing his best at the end. SEA NAME was outrun for the first turn of the field, but gained steadily and finished fast. ABYDOS steadily impioved his position and finished fastest of alL GRAYLETTE ran a good race from the start. PAGEBROOK began slowly. CANAQUE ran out at the final jump. HONORABLE broke down. ROMANA lost his rider at the ninth jump and HEBRIDES fell over him. Scratched— 79687 Grouch, 132. Won easily; second and third driving. MISSIONARY, away well, displayed great speed in fast pacemaking and. drawing away from INDIAN TRAIL when called on, was under mild restraint at the end. INDIAN TRAIL raced in closest pursuit of the winner throughout and made a game finish. MACLEAN began slowly and saved ground on the turns, but could not menace the leaders under hard riding. Won driving; second and third the same. BONTAUD raced into the lead with a rush and, setting a fast pace, outstayed PRICE-MAKER at the end. The latter was pinched back shortly after the start, hut worked his way up on the outside and headed BONTAUD fifty yards from the finish, but tired right at the end. PRINCE liEOPOLD was a forward contender from the start and made a resolute finish. WAMPEE closed Steadily from a slow beginning. DEFIANT showed speed to the stretch. Won easily; second and third driving. DERONDA, close up from the start, raced into the lead in the stretch after having raced EPISODE into defeat and was easing up at the end. WYNNEWOOD was forced to come wide into the Stretch and finished fast and gamely. EPISODE showed the most speed to the stretch, but tired in the final sixteenth.
