IMPORTED YEARLINGS SOLD Laurel Park Stud Consignment Averages ,068 a Head. Advance Guard III., Bay Colt By Galloper Light Georgia, Brings Top Price of 3,000. SARATOGA SPRINGS, N, T., Aug. 14. The imported thoroughbred yearlings which were consigned by the Laurel Park Stud Company, of England, were disposed of at auction in the sales paddock on AVednesday night, and brought large prices and increased bidding. The youngsters Which were brought to this country early this year brought a total of 10,415 or an average of ,068 a head. The largest price of the evening was paid for a brown colt by Galloper Light Georgia, and which is named Advance Guard HI. This colt was knocked down to Henry McDanicl on the latters bid of 3,000. Ernest Heider, presumably bidding for E. R. Bradley, carried the bidding almost to that point at which figure he dropped out. The following is a summary of the sales: Property of Laurel Park Stud Co.
