TIDINGS, away fast, set a good pace and raced LAST ONE into defeat, then drew away into a good lead and won easing up. ROYAL DICK was close up all the way and finished fast. SWEET NOTE closed up gamely in the stretch and outstaved LAST ONE. The latter -was much used in racing witli the winner and tired. FAIR LAVANA finished well. QUEEN BESS showed speed. FEHRAII tired slightly after being up close most of the way. AVHI REWIND propped at the start and had no chance. LA TAFNA followed PETER LEE closely, but could not withstand the winners rush. SILVER MAID ran a good race. SUPERLATIVE could never improve his position. PETER LEE set a good pace, but quit badly. HIGH GEAR was practically left,, but finished resolutely. Won easily; second and third driving. BIGHEART followed the swift-running AAILL LAND and when called on raced to the front with a rush and won under a hand ride. ENERGY, under a good ride, finished with a rush, but was driving hard to outstay POLLY AAALE. The latter, away last, saved ground and, coming on the outside in the stretch, would have been second in another stride. DEPUTY and HERMIDALE were outpaced. WILL LAND set a fast pace, but tired. TURBULENT set a good pace to the last eighth and tired. NIGHTSTICK, showed speed, but quit.
