VIVADOU DISPERSAL SALE Over 00,000 Realized for Lot Offered W; R. Coe Pays Top Price of 8,100. SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y.. Aug. 19. The dispersal sale of the stable of Victor Vivadou, who races under the nom de course of the Riviera Stable, was held in the paddock this afternoon, under the auspices ol the Thoroughbred Sales Company with George Bain as the auctioneer. High prices were realized for the lots offered and W. R. Coe paid 8,100 for the two-year-old Le Roi. There is a singular history attached to this colt, a son of Fair Play Babe by McGee. At the yearling sale Le Roi brought 5,000 on the bid of Mr. Vivadou. In that sale "VV. R. Coe was bidding against him. Today Mr. Coe showed that lie wanted the colt more than ever and went to 3,100.
