TO AID THE POLICE FUND SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y Aug. 19. The Police Fund Cup for three-year-olds and over to be decided Saturday, September 6, at Jamaica is a new departure in the annual police games for the benefit of widows and orphans of the men Avho have been killed in the service of the department Lieut Martin A. Noonan, is in charge of the games, and has featured the race. The event is for three-year-olds and over at a mile and seventy yards. The owner of the winner will receive a silver cup valued at 00 while the winning jockey will receive a sterling silver toilet set to the value of 00. It is hoped that horsemen will rally to the support of this worthy cause.
