ARRIVALS AT NIAGARA FALLS Four Carloads of Horses Reach Falls Track from Montreal . Ample Stabling Facilities. NIAGARA FALLS, OnL, Aug. 25. Four carloads of horses have arrived from Montreal for the meeting which opens at the Niagara Falls race course Wednesday. Horsemen who bruoght horses from Montreal for the coming Falls meeting are: P. Mock, P. Hinphy, C. W. Dodds, Hugh Hanna, L. J. Taner, W. Barker, W. Russell, E. J. Doyle, J. Everest, O. Tuttle, J. Lucas, P. Hawkins, H. W. Barnes, W. Mein, L. Dunlop, W. E. Jones, J. E. Farley, George Foley, W. G. Campbell, P. Delaney, L. Crist and R. S. Coppage. "All that is needed to make the coming meeting a great success," said General Manager M. C. Dewer today, "is good weather. The spring meeting was far more successful than the inaugural meeting at the Falls track last year, and every indication is that the coming one will be even more successful. With the many horses coming to the Falls well-filled and evenly-balanced fields are assured. I have visited Buffalo, Toronto, Hamilton, St. Catherine and other nearby places, and have found considerable interest being taken in the return of the thoroughbreds to the Falls." "There was a rumor afloat that we could not stable the horses being shipped because of the great influx," continued Mr. Dewer. "We will take care of all horses brought here. We have ample stabling facilities."
