ZEV BACK IN OLD TIME FORM SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., Aug. 25. Some of the candidates for the first International race against Epinard at Belmont Park, Labor Day, showed some speed in trials this morning. Zev, the conqueror of Papyrus last year, demonstrated that he is coming back when he went along for five-eighths in l:OOVs. Snob II., the J. S. Cos-den hope, was worked three-quarters in 1:14 and Gifford A. Cochrans Goshawk worked a like distance in 1:14. Harry Payne Whitneys Klondyke had an easy five-eighths in 1:05 and the Oak Ridge Stables Apprehension worked a half in :49.
