BUSY AMERICAN TO THE STUD LATONIA, Ky., Sept 9. After being galloped this morning Busy American, in the stable of Rome Respess, pulled up so lame that it will be impossible for him to race this fall, and it is doubtful if he will ever race again. The Bradley cast-off was somewhat of a cripple when acquired by Respess last year and he was given a season in the stud at the Respess Highland Farm. Last spring he was put back in training and after the Latonia meeting was taken to Canada with tho Respess string with the idea of racing him at Winsor. But the horse never faced the barrier in Canada, and Respess, still hopeful, brought him back to Latonia for another attempt to get him to the post. This having proved a failure. Busy American will be returned "to stud duty at his owners farm.
