IRISH DREAM fhowed the most speed and, Jumping well, raced into a long lead, but was tiring badly at the end. PECCANT showed speed for the first turn of the field and outgamcd CONNIEBERT cn the flat after taking the final jump. The latter moved up. prominently, but tired when called on. BARBARY BUSH set the pace under slight restraint for the first half, then drew away from DREAM MAKER while rounding the last turn, but tired finally and just lasted long enough to outstay BLIND PLAY. The latter had scant chance at the start, but closed an immense gan and was going fastest of all at the end. DIAGRAM, as good as left, closed up some ground. The latter followed the pacemakers closely and, coming fast through the stretch, finished fast and gaining on the winner. FLAMES was far back for the first mile, but finished with a rush on the Inside. PRISCILLA RULEY tired badly after going a mile. PLOUGH BOY was always outrun. LOVABLE was taken up at the start and moved up resolutely into third place, but tired badly through the final sixteenth. SOPHY finished fast. BELLE OF BOYCE wheeled at the start and was left. PIQUE seemed to lead all the way, but only won narrowly. FINLAND came very wide into the stretch, but finished fast and almost got up. RIGOLETTO tired after getting to the leader at the eighth post.
