PRINCE Til Til WINS Scores Easy Victory in Auroras Main Racing Attraction. Virgo Disqualified in Second Race After Finishing First Jockey Zucchini Suspended. AURORA, 111., Sept 24. The Aurora Trust and Savings Bank Handicap, at a mile and an eighth, was the feature race of the day, attracting four of the best long-distance runners that could be mustered out Thero was another large crowd out and warm sunshiny weather greeted them. The track was fast Mrs. B. B. Williams Prince Til Til was the winner of the feature race in easy fashion, . leading from end to end. The Pueblo Stables Tangerine was the one to be second, with Polvo third. Dustabout the only other starter, was off poorly and raced under stout restraint through tho entire race until, tho last eighth of a mile, where he gained rapidly, just getting beat for third. After a brief delay they were off. and the . start was a poor one. Prince Tii Til went right to the front with Polvo forcing the . pace. Tangerine was in advance of Dust-about by three lengths. Carroll, on Polvo, was hustling his mount all the way up the backstretch, trying to get to the flying; leader, but of no avail. Tangerine also was racing under sufference in third position. It was practically a runaway for the winner, which broke the track record. This was tho first winner for jockey Lombardo, who was presented with a gold watch after the race. ZUCCHINI HELD TO BLAME. The second race at one mile and seventy yards, was marred by the disqualification of Virgo which was first after a hard stretch drive with the favorite Molinero. Fred Kinney was third a length and a half in front of Lothair for the short end of the purse. The start was a good one and Zucchini sent Virgo to the front with Molinero and Northrop the ones to follow him closest to the backstretch where Fred Kinney moved up to third position. Voogeria, which was the medium of a plunge was racing In sixth position. In the run for home Virgo was still in the lead with Molinero closing fast on the outside. The latter went into the lead at the eighth post and it was a nip and tuck battle from there to the end. Virgo came again on the inside and Gormley and Zucchini were riding hard and indulged in a. bit of bumping for which Virgo was disqualified, placing Molinero first with Fred Kinney second and Lothair third. Zucchini was set down for the remainder of the meeting. POLLYMARA ALL THE WAY. The third race brought out five ordinary-sprinters. Pollymara was installed an odds-on favorite and made good leading from start to finish. Sophia Marie was second and Remnant third. It was virtually a three-horse race from the start, Pollymara racing into a good lead and Remnant forcing the pace with Sophia Marie in third place. Remnant had enough after reaching the stretch and Sophia Marie came on to be second. The opening race, a five-eighths dash for two-year-olds, engaged eleven starters and June Day proved the best, winning all the way. Sorline, the favorite, was second, with Test of Time, another one which attracted some support, was the one that finished third. After a three-minute delay at the barrier they were off in good order with June Day racing to the front and holding sway throughout Another good thing went wrong when the talent backed Leslie heavily. He showed a. very dull performance and never was in the running after going an eighth. The winner was Shining Gold, an outsider, which was neglected in the betting. Eddie Jr., which could not raise a gallop the last time he ran was the one to bo second with Poppye third. After a three-minute delay trying to get old Top o th Morning to behave, tho field was sent away to a good start Boys Believe Me was the one to go into the lead but he did not enjoy it very long for - Shining Gold raced to the front after going a quarter and won all tho way. The last race of the day fell to Stone Age, with Feigned Zeal second and Mrs. J. Drey-ers Okeechobee third. Ten Can was the one to set the pace in this race and it is a tore-gone conclusion that he has seen his best days for he quit like he was short after going a mile. Stone Age and Chaplet alternated in forcing the pace and at the stretch turn the latter loomed up as a formidable contender but not for long for he faded away when tho real racing began. For violation of rule 254 H. Tullett has been fined 50. Jockeys Piccarillo and Blackwell were set down for five days by the starter for disobedience at the post Jockey J. Smith resumed riding hero Wednesday after serving a five-days suspension. W. J. Potter has applied for a trainers license and will train his own horses in tho future.
