RACING COMMISSION MEETS LATONIA, Ky., Sept. 29. At a meeting of the Kentucky Racing Commission, held before Saturdays racing, Ed Pendleton claimed at Louisville and the claim subsequently protested by owner A. W. Young was held valid, and the horse will be retained by his present owner. The fine of 5 assessed against trainer W. Perkins also at the time of the Ed Pendleton claiming and which the trainer appealed, was not adjucated. Jockey Lawrence Lykes license was revoked for misconduct. The license of jockey N. J. Barnes, who rode Slicker in several of his beaten races, Avas restored to him. William Lancet, under contract to Spencer, asked for a release from his employer and commissioners Lafoon and Kohn were appointed to straighten the differences of the jockey and owner.
