SOU-LINE was as good as left and, closing an immense gap, made a fast and game finish. TEST OF TIME raced close up all the way, but tired in the stretch drive. PETER DECOY raced fairly well. DR. SISK ran poorly in the going and so did GREAT WATERS. HELEN G. set the early pace and quit. SIR RALPH raced in the best going for the entire distance and finished gamely. FARER set a good pace, but quit in the stretch drive. MARTHA MOORE began slowly, but closed an immense gap and ran a good race. ANTICIPATE quit after racing well to the stretch, as did POLYCHRESTY. TANGERINE raced into the lead when rounding the first turn and led for the entire distance, but had to be shaken up in the last seventy yards to outfinish ROCKY MOUNTAIN. The latter raced ! in closest pursuit all the way and was gaining slowly on the winner in the final strides. DORIUS : was always outrun and ran poorly in the going. The latter was outrun to the stretch, but finished fast and would have won in another stride. LADY CHOCO was badly outrun to the stretch where she came fast and finished gamely. LORENA MARCELLIA quit after taking the lead on the stretch turn. PONJOLA ran a good half mile.
