GIPSY FLYER gained steadily on the inside, but tired d in the flnal seventy yards. SEA TIDE gained from a slow beginning on the outside, made a threatening e rush on the stretch turn, but also tired. CONFLUENTE showed early speed. MASTER BILLY tired. KUMONIN closed up some ground. BILL WINFREY began in a tangle. LAWRENCE raced well throughout, made a challenge in the final 1 turn of the field, but tired after taking the lead. FLYING SCOTCHMAN jumped well and showed improvement. - RELENTLESS jumped poorly and swerved at each obstacle and tired under her weight. .
