THIRD STRAIGHT VICTORY John Morrill Easily Accounts for Lorraine Handicap, Feature at Brooklyn Park. CLEVELAND, Ohio, Oct 4. B. Creechs good gelding, John Morrill, scored his third straight victory of the present meeting "when ho made a show of his opponents in the Lorraine Handicap, todays feature at Brook- . lyn Park. Paden rated him in behind Randals Royal for a half of the journey, then called upon him and the son of Fayette responded with good courage and drew away easily. The Plainsman, outrun in the . early stages, finished fast and was an easy second, while Randals Royal, the early pacemaker, finished third. This marked the third win for the day for jockey Paden, he haying previously piloted John Hoshor and Benita home in front The Brooklyn News Handicap, which served as secondary featuro, brought together a-small but good field of sprinters and resulted in the closest finish of the day when End Man, which had cut out the early running, barely lasted to win from the fast-finishing Sure Fire by a nose.
