STARS ON PARADE LATONIA, Ky., Oct. 4. Immediately after the running of the third race, Epinard and Wise Counsellor came out on the track, carrying the respective colors of their owners, Pierre Wertheimer and Frederick Burton. The big crowd accorded them a hearty reception to the strains of the Marseillaise and My Old Kentucky Home. Both great colta "showed off" like the equine gentlemen they are. After the parade, Wise Counsellor continued on to the half mile ground where ho broke and under hard restraint covered tho distance to the stand in :48. The first quarter was in twenty-four seconds. He seemed to show a liking for the track whero he first came into renown.
