Won easily; second and third driving. FOLYCARP quickly raced into a long lead, but was tiring through the final eighth and was kept at his best to the end. BUCK POND, fractions at the barrier, followed the winner closely, but was tiring at the end and barely outlinished BETTER TIMES. The latter was on the inside for the first half, but was taken to the outside in the stretch and finished fast. WILDRAKE ran a good race all the way. QUARANTINE raced below his best form. BRIGGS BUCHANAN raced close up throughout, made a challenge on the stretch turn, hut tired under his impost. BLUE HILL began slowly and finished fast. BROOMFIELD ran well to the stretch and tired. STIMULUS at once drew away into the lead and, withstanding a challenge from NICHOLAS, finished gamely through the final eighth. BEATRICE raced in close pursuit of the leaders and was forced to come wide on the stretch turn, but finished resolutely and outstayed NEDANA in the final strides. The latter was away poorly, but closed an immense gap in the stretch and was going fastest of all at the end. NICHOLAS was much used in forcing the pace and tired badly in the final seventy yards. MAD PLAY followed ZEV closely on the inside to the stretch and, moving up with a rush while rounding the last turn, passed PR1SCILLA RULEY and was going away at tue end. PRISCILLA RULEY forced a fast pace from the start and headed ZEV when entering the stretch, but could not withstand the rush of the winner. ZEV showed high speed from the start in pacemaking, but tired on the stretch turn and came again at the end. AGA KHAN bumped into LUCKY PLAY at the start and dropped back, then made a rush while rounding the last turn, but tired finally. no and PRISCILLA RULEY were worked out a mile and three-eighths. SUPERBUM improved her position steadily on the inside and, moving up with a rush on the stretch turn, passed GOOD NIGHT and won in a canter. GOOD NIGHT followed the pacemakers under restraint and raced into the lead briefly, but tired through the final sixteenth and just lasted to save second place. BAR GOLD was saved under stout restraint and came with a belated rush through the Stretch. WYNNEWOOD showed the most early speed, but quit badly. IRENE SWEENEY quit.
