BETTY MALONEY quickly raced into an open lead and held it gamely in the stretch drive SANDRAE was outrun early, but finished fast and was wearing the winner down at the end OLD BROADWAY lost ground on the last turn, but finished well. MAJOR FINLEY showed speed but tired in the stretch. CLEAR VIEW was shut off on the far turn. FIERY FLIGHT finished well SUBTLE ran well to the stretch. Scratched 841G5 Edinburgh, 113. FLOATING ON set a good pace, saved much ground on all the turns and won going away PEP TO PEEP tired in the final drive after forcing a fast nace. BABY GRAND showed speed and set a good pace, but tired in the stretch drive. GRAY GABLES was always outrun, but finished fast and headed 1ILGRIM right at the end. The latter ran fairly well. Won handily; second and third driving. DREAM MAKER saved ground on all the turns and, finishing fast, outstayed TIME EXPOSURE, although tiring. TIME EXPOSURE was shuffled back early, but recovered quickly and, gaining steadily, was catching the leader at the end. WELLFINDER showed the most speed, but tired and then came again to nose LEATHERWOOD out in the final stride. LEATHERWOOD was knocked back at the start, but loomed up dangeiously in the stretch only to tire slightly right at the end. CALIGULA ran a good half mile and tired. SPOT CASH saved ground on all the turns and finished fast between the others and there was considerable bumping in the stretch between him and VALADOR. MOUNTAIN ROSE II. ran well and was interfered with by HICKORY when the latter swerved across to the inside at the sixteenth post.
