Won easily; second and third driving. LASS O MINE began fast and, after following the early leader closely, raced into the lead with a rush when called on and won easing up. MIDNIGHT ROSE was close up for the entire race and finished fast. MAXIMANEH was far back for the first half mile and came with a great rush through the stretch. TALEQUA ran well, but began tiring in the. stretch. MARY JOHNSTON set a fast early pace and tired. CAPTIYA was taken back repeatedly and can do much better. RANDEL, close up from the start, moved up resolutely after going a half mile and, finishing gamely, wore BEAUTIFUL ADDIE down in the last twenty yards to win in the last" stride. BEAUTIFUL ADDIE ran a good race and finished gamely, but was not able to withstand the winners rush. COYNE showed fine speed in pacemaking to the last sixteenth, where he began tiring. FINDAY ran well, but also tired in the stretch. WAPITI finished close up. UNCLE BERT was away poorly and showed speed in racing into a contending position. DIOMED was always outrun. STARBECK, under good ridine. was. close up for the entire race, but just lasted long enough to save second place. BRADLEYS TONEY, much the best, was given a bad ride and allowed to drop far back and came fast when ridden hard. CERTAIN began tiring in the stretch. SNOOKSIE BRADLEY had no mishaps. INDIAN TRAIL dropped back soon after the start. LADY FOX set a fast early pace and quit. NOGALES saved much ground on the turns and got up for third place In the final stride. ROYAL MISS was ridden wide on the turns and tired in the last seventy yards. 00 LA LA tired after going well for a half mile. ESCAPADER had no mishaps. Overweights Escapader, 2 pounds; Oo La La, 1.
