Won driving; second and third the Fame. LUCKY STRIKE, away well, followed the early pacemakers closely and, racing into the lead In the stretch, outgamed IDLE THOUGHTS in the final drive. The latter began well, saved ground when entering the stretch and finished fast on the inside. JYNTEE was knocked back on the far turn and forced to ccme wide when entering the stretch, but finished well. REDSKIN set a fast pace to the stretch and tired. ALL IN ALL ran a good race. AVISACK began slowly, but worked her way up on the outside- and was forced wide when MARGIN swerved to the inside on the stretch turn but, finishing with a rush, got up to win in the closing strides. LADY BELLE was taken up at the start, but gained steadily on the inside and came to the outside of "AKtJIN on the stretch turn and finished fast and gamely. MISS "WHISK saved ground when -entering the stretch and took the lead, but was tiring at the end. MARGIN showed the most early speed, but quit badly. RUBAN ROUGE followed the pacemaker closely until the stretch was reached, then raced into the lead and won going away. ROSA YETA set a good pace and raced into an easy lead, but tired when challenged by the winner. WAR MASK finished fast from a slow beginning. THE FENIAN ran well. This latter raced THE SPA into defeat and drew away into a good lead, but tired badly in the final sixteenth. POLLY McWIGGLES met with interference on the far turn and came with a rush when clear. NEW MOON ran well, but tired in the final sixteenth. THE SPA showed the most early speed, but quit. ALKALI IKE finished well. BAL MASQUE was bothered after the start.
