KINDRED, away fast and showing the most speed, raced into the lead at once and, holding it gamely, outstayed WAPITI. Tlte latter came swiftly through the stretch and was going fast at the end. WAR PRIZE ran a good race, but tired near the end. EDDIE JR. had a rough race and came fast -when clear. PARADER was far back early, but finished well. REPEATER closed a gap. Won driving; second and third the same. QUINCE KING, hard ridden for the entire race, showed the most speed all the way, but seemed beaten when a sixteenth out and cure again in the last few strides to outstay RESISTANCE. The latter moved up fast just before reaching the stretch and raced into a small lead, but tired in the last few strides. PLANTER saved much ground on the turns and, closing a big gap, would have won in a few strides more. COUNTRY PRINCESS ran well. SARI closed a gap. SAN CARLOS will improve. LADY CHOCO had to work through a rough race, but finished well. TRAPNET raced forwardly from the start, but tired after taking the lead. T.ENCH MANAGER came from far back in the last quarter. UPROAR had no mishaps. ESCAPADER raced into the lead, but tired. NIMROD set the paec to the far turn and quit badly. Won easily second and third driving. BROOMSTER, given a good ride and away well, passed THE RUNT in the first half mile and won in a canter. THE RUNT set a fast eaily pace and raced gamely to the end, but tired iu the last sixteenth. SURF RIDER began slowly and was practically left, but closed an immense gap, although coming wide into the stretch. PRETTY POLITICIAN was given a bad ride. GORGET and RATTER UP were always far back. HOPELESS began slowly and closed a big gap in the stretch. JUST DAVID showed the most early speed and Interfered with the close contenders on the stretch turn, but outstayed 15 EST "PAL. The latter saved much ground on all the turns. AUDACIOUS ran fairly well. CH1LHOWEE suffered from interference and by being forced sharply out of contention on the stretch turn and tired in the last eighth. PROVIDENT began slowly, but raced into the first three in the first half mile, but had to come wide on the stretch turn and tired. BRUNELL ran well and had no mishaps. NOGALES was always outrun.
