BAD FALL AT YOUNGSTOWN 3jfcough Hiding Results in Three Horses Going Down Two Jockeys Severely Injured. TOUNGSTOWDS, Ohio, Oct. 27 A "bad fail, -which occurred during the running of the :sixth race, marred todays program at Southern Park. After the field had gone a 3half mile, Punshon, on Sweepstakes, the odds-on choice, tried to squeeze through an opening on the rail, but Feeder, the pacemaker, swerved in, causing Sweepstakes to "fall, and Pony Express and Locarno fell over him. Punshon and KasseToler, -who had tthe mount on Pony Express, were rushed to the hospital in an unconscious condition, -while Xiabelle, who was astride Locarno, escaped injury .and rode in the last race. Jockey R, Ryan, Feodors rider, was held responsible for the fall and was suspended indefinitely, Castilla came on to -win the race in a driving finish from Pat Hampson. W. A, McKinney had just purchased the contract on jockey Punshon from A. E. Alexander for a price reported to be in the neighborhood of ,000, Jockey J Petrecca had "his "hadge taken up for using abusive language-Jockey L. Neal -was suspended forr the re--mainder of the meeting for rough riding in the third race, C. IL Sprague purchased Neblsh from W. Toung. X E. Lewis traded Chemisette to F. "Williams for Carrure.
