AID TED RICES FAMILY YONKERS, N. T., Oct 27 John G. Cavanagh is receiving subscriptions for a fund for the benefit of Mrs. Ted Rice, widow of the jockey who was killed in a race at Jamaica a year ago last spring. Sportsmen have always been famed for their generosity on such occasions and Mr. Cavanagh has had many responses to his appeal already. Mrs. Rice has two small children to care for, and the charity is a most worthy one. The bereaved family lives at Jamaica.
