PHIL McCANN began fast and, setting a good pace, showed the way throughout, Dut tired near the end and just lasted to win. EXTRA EDITION began slowly and was ridden wide on the last tuin, but came with a rush and was going fastest of all at the end. ISAMAN ran a good race and finished gamely, but tiring. BUGLER raced prominently all the way. DELSAN closed a gap. MOORFIELD tired badly. GREAT ROCK showed the most speed to the stretch and finished gamely. SPANDOR began badly, but moved up steadily and was racing well at the end. PLANTER tired badly after going three-quarters. MINUS set a fast pace to the last eighth and tired. BLUE STONE closed an immense gap. DUSTY MARY lost ground by racing wide. QUEER quit in the stretch. MAGIC WAND was done after going a half mile. KING GORIN II. raced well and probably would have won, but for coming wide on the stretch turn. DEFIANT raced well. CHILDS PLAY quit.
