FINAL DAY AT LONGCHAMPS SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. PARIS, France, Oct. 27. The final day of 1924 racing at Longchamps yesterday was marred by rainy weather. Only three horses started in the Prix Gladiateur and Trevise, ridden by Semblat, won by twenty lengths from Alba, with Mazeppa in third place. J. D. Cohns Athelstan, a son of Teddy, won the Prix de Saint Firman. The days racing gave Semblat the lead over Garner by one winning mount in the battle for the years riding honors. A. K. Macombers The Warrior won the Prix Nezel at ATaisons-Laffitte Saturday.
