SWEEPING AWAY appeared sore when going to the post, but ran well and, showing the most speed, raced into the lead in the stretch and won going away. GUN BOAT was always outrun, but saved ground on the stretch turn and finished well. PRINCE OF POWER set a fast pace to the stretch, but tired when called on for the final drive. SENNACHERIB ran well. LOLLIPOP was reserved back of the leaders until in the final turn of the field, then moved up rapidly into the lead and drew away when JIM COFFROTH blundered at the thirteenth jump. The latter was going fast when he stumbled and nearly unseated his rider, who was half off the horse, hut got back into the Faddle and finished with his. feet out of the stirrups. DRAFT showoo speed, but tired near the end. CONNIEBERT jumped none too well and tired. GIMME tired badly. Start good and slow: Won driving; second and third the same. DREAM OF THE VALLEY raced close up from the start and, taking the lead, held FKOSTY BOY safe through the stretch. The latter, off slowly, was reserved in the middle of the field and raced to the winner in the stretch, then tired, but finished gamely. BOUNCE closed a big gap and finished well. CIMARRON, off slowly, suffered from interference on the first turn and finished fast and gamely. GOLDMARK saved ground on the stretch turn, but tired. BRUSH ALL set a good pace to the stretch and tired. DICKIE DIX was neatly knocked down on the first turn. Scratched 85075 Bolster, 114.
