EMPIRE CITY STATISTICS Total of 20,125 Distributed During Fall Meeting. IV. M. Jeffords Largest "Winner Among Owners Stimulus Xcads the Horses, Kumraer the Jockeys. The final meeting1 of the year on the Jockey Club circuit was held at Empire City from .October 16 to October 30, and during the thirteen days of racing seventy-eight races were decided and a total of 5120,125 was distributed in stakes and purses. The daily average distribution amounted to ,240. W. M. Jeffords was the most successful of the owners taking part in the racing at the hill-top course, his horses accounting for five races and 1,930.
