CLIMAX began well and was hard ridden and, first or second from the start, savedground when coming into the stretch and, in a game finish, just got up in time to win. OUR OPTION, also nway well, raced forwardly from the start and finished well. ANNIE LYLE was practically left r.t the pest and clcsed an immense gap, and, with an even start, would have won far off. DOWN TOWN showed the most speed to the stretch, but began tiring in the last eighth. THEO RED began dropping back after going a half mile, but finished gamely. THE SMASHER closed a gap. SYMPATHY showed speed, but began tiring in the last sixteenth. QCESADA will improve and do better presently.
