McLean, the "Washington sportsman, had a rather modest stable in action during 1924 and it was the three-year-old colt Modest that .won the most money for him, the son Colin accounting for 7,275. Noel, the four-year-old Broomstick colt, earned .1924.sh,730, and Comixa added ,G7G to the total. AND MRS. W. M. JEFFORDS. The stable of Mr. and Mrs. "W. M. Jeffords attracted much attention during the current year because in it were some of the first get of the mighty Man o War. Four of these prised youngsters did start and gave indications of future greatness. By Hisself was one and he may be one of the great three-year-olds of next year.
