Won easily; second and third driving. BRIXKLEY, hard ridden throughout, moved into a good lead after going the first quarter and, holding on well, outstayed SOUTHLAND GIRL. The latter began slowly and lost ground going wide, hut came with a rush through the stretch. FIRMAMENT raced prominently for most of the way, but lost ground at the turns, goins wide, and tired in the last sixteenth. FLEETWOOD showed a good performance. HEAD LINE also raced prominently. ASA JEWELL, showing vastly improved form, displayed good speed and held on well during the final drive. PEACE PAL appeared in close quarters in the stretch and tired in the last seventy j-ards. FLAXY MAE raced prominently for most of the way. HENRY M. DIETZ raced wide at the turns and tired after showing speed for three-quarters. MAY GIRL ran well.
