Marshall Fields Crack Colt, Stimulus, and His 1924 Record Marshall Field has been represented in racing for only a few years, but in the short time that he has been identified with the sport he has had the satisfaction of seeing his colors carried by Corn Broom, one of the best two-year-old fillies in England, in 1022, and this year, in this country, by Stimulus, one of the best two-year-old colts of 1024. Stimulus is, without question, a high class young racer. It was not until late in the year that he showed his best form, winning seven out of eight starts, his greatest achievement the capturing of the rich Pimlico Futurity, terminating his racing for the year. Altogether he won nine races out of fourteen starts and earned a total of 7,50S in stakes and purses. Here is Stimulus record for 1924 in tabulated form: rurse. Track. Distance. AVt. Time. Fin.
