They will be trained by C. Sanford. Hil McGinnis, inventor of the starting gate in use at Jefferson Park and other tracks, arrived Tuesday from Bowie. A. E. Barrett, owner of a number of horses in training at the Fair Grounds, arrived from Chicago for a brief visit. Nat Evans, well-known sportsman, who was in charge of the Casino at Oriental Park last year, was among the visitors, and plans to remain for several weeks. He is accompanied by his wife.
