XALAPA SALE UNDER WAY Prominent Men of the Turf Assemble at Squardon A. Armory for Dispersal Sale. NEW YORK, N. Y., Dec. 10 At the hour of going to press, the dispersal sale of the Xalapa Farm thoroughbreds had not begun, but Squadron A Armory was thronged with prominent men of the turf from every section, and there was every indication that the sale would be tremendously successful. E. J. Trantor of the Fasig-Tipton Company, which is conducting the sale for E. F. Simms, had made elaborate preparations for the comfort of both the horses and bidders. The horses were all in commodious boxes on the lower floor of the armory while the sale arena was constructed in the tan bark ring.
