Twenty Years Ago Today Chief Turf Events of Dec. II, 1904 Sunday, no racing. The yearlings of Burns and Waterhousc, ths finest lot of youngsters ever sold in an auction sales ring in California, were disposed of in the paddocks of the Oakland track after the running of the last race yesterday. J. O. Keene paid the top price for Prince Nap. C. T. Patterson bought three grand ones in Hus-san, Mendocino and War Wheel, which will form the nucleus of a powerful stable that he is empowered to get together for an eastern millionaire, whose name is not divulged at present.
