Won easily; second and third driving. COLLISION was under restraint for the first three-eighths, but slipped through oh the inside when entering the stretch and, finishing fast, won going away. PETER COMBS showed the most early speed, but tired and was inclined to swerve out in the last eighth. CEDRIC began slowly, but worked his way up on the outside into a game third. KEAOLANI ran well, but tired after racing RECOUP into defeat in the first half mile. RECOUP raced into the lead and came again in the stretch, but could not withstand the ruth of the winner. CONSCRIPT showed the most speed from the start and, after being passed by SPRING AALE, raced the latter into defeat, but tired right at the end and had to be hard ridden to withstand the challenge of COLLIE TOKALON. The latter finislicd very fast on the inside and was wearing the winner down at the end. SPRING AALE raced into the lead on the last turn, but tired in the stretch drive.
