Won easily; second and third driving. RUNAWAY easily outpaced the others from the start, but appeared to be tiring near the end. RUNLEIGH had a rough race and was forced slightly wide on the last turn, but finishing with a rush and rapidly wearing the winner down. FLYING ORI5 ran well, but was tiring at the end. LUCKY HAYS ran a fairly good race on the outside. ATHANXA was in the middle of the field and could not get to the pacemaker. VODKA tired after showing a short flight of speed. Won easily; second and third driving. CONTRIRUTION raced into the lead quickly from a good start and the result was never in doubt. MISS CAXTUA began fast and, always well up, finished fastest or the others. MEDDLING SETH gained rap:dly around the last turn, but tired badly in the final eighth. NO WONDER made up much ground from a slow beginning. The others were never contenders. Won easily: second and third driving. EIGHT SIXTY began fully in his stride and, quickly taking the load, "on all the way and handily raced away from his early opponents in the stretch. WILTRUDE WOOD raced close up and. saving ground on all the turns, easily overtook LORD VALENTINE for second place. The latter forced the pace, but tired in the stretch. PIEDRA displayed a good order of speed for him and, racing in closest pursuit, made a challenge at the eighth post, but tired in the final drive. XOTnAIR closed a big gap from a slow beginning. ARRAVAN lan fairly well throughout. PEMBROKE tired badly after running a good half mile. WIXXOW TREE ran poorly. Scratched SC092 Chippendale, 101. ALX OVER was lacking in early speed and was hard ridden on the back stretch and appeared to sulk until at the half, from where he raced into contention, but tired and came somewhat wide on the last turn. TANGERINE tired, but outstayed TRACER in the final strides. The latter set a slow pace on sufferance and was beaten when challenged. BEDAZZLE helped force a good pace and clung to the winner with rare tenacity. SOPHIA GOLDMAN loomed up as the iKssib!e winner on the last turn, but tired in the stretch.
