AUGUST BELMONTS FUNERAL NEW YORK, N .Y., Dec. 11. The funeral of the late Major August Belmont, chairman of the Jockey Club, Avill be held in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine at 4 oclock Friday afternoon, with Bishop Manning, assisted by the Rev. Karl Reiland of St. Georges church officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Island Cemetery. Newport, R. I., Saturday morning. The pall bearers were chosen today from among the more intimate friends of the late Major Belmont. They include Joseph S. Auerbach, William Woodward, P. K. Knapp. E. C. Potter, O. W. Bird, Paul Dana, Richard Delafield, Francis R. Appleton. Cornelius Vanderbilt, Seymour Cromwell, Francis K. Pendleton, Frank L. Polk, F. K. Sturgis, Delancey Nicoll and E. J. Bcrwind.
