Master Charlie Shows Improvement MASTER CHARLIE NEW ORLEANS, La., April 3.— Master Charlie, the hope of the William Daniel stable in the big three-year-old stakes of this year, has shown such impressive workouts at the Fair Grounds within the past few days that a heavy plunge on his chances in the Kentucky Derby is looked for in the future books soon. William Daniel, owner of the colt, has been in New Orleans several days to see for himself if the colt was coming to hand as well as reports said. He was elated with Master Charlies condition. Hard held the other morning Master Charlie worked a mile in 1 :44 over a slow track at the Fair Grounds. Those who have been watching him in his morning gallops attest there is not the least sign of lameness and that after all his trials ! he pulls up as sound as a bell. Master Charlies future bcok price has been chopped from 12 to 1 to 8 to 1.
