As a matter of fact, it would appear that the stables success this year will depend upon the showing of the juvenile division. Eleven of the youngsters are recent arrivals from Audley Farm, and, having been in training all winter, are advanced in their preparation. They are a fine looking band and were all bred by Messrs. B. B. and Mont fort Jones at their farm in Virginia. Names for the youngsters are not yet ready to be announced, but these will be forthcoming shortly. Following is the list: Ray filly, by Sir Barton— Joana Marie. Brown colt, by Last Coin — Picadillo. Chestnut filly, by Man o War— Honey Girl. Chestnut filly, by Gnome — Pancake. Chestnut colt, by Pennant — Matin. Hay filly, by Archaic — Tuscaloosa. Chestnut filly, by Sir Barton — Smooth Bore. Bay colt, by Sir Barton — Checkers. Bay colt, by Sir Barton — Irish Lassie. Chestnut colt, by The Finn — Coaster OH Chestnut colt, by Thunderer — Flying Colors. The other horses that Kay Spence brought from the farm were Superfrank and Automatic, the latter a three-year-old filly by Ormondale — Smooth Bore, that has never been raced. Superfrank, also a three-year-old, was fired last fall and is now in good condition. Trainer Spence announced that Rookminis- ter would not be raced in Kentucky this spring or summer. The horse is being bred to some mares and will, later on, he put in training and gotten ready for the Saratoga ; meeting. Captain Martin and Lord Martin, respec- tively three and four-year-olds, have both ; been fired and turned out. They will not be raced again until the Saratoga meeting. The stables crack. Princess Doreen, now in her fourth year, was left in care of Miller Henderson to prepare her for the Dixie Handicap in Maryland. After that race Princess j Doreen will be sent to Churchill Downs to | start in the Clark Handicap. Harry Stutts, the Audley Farm Stable ! rider, will continue to ride at Bowie, but will be on hand to accept mounts at the opening ! of the Lexington meeting. ♦
