BOWIE TRACK NOTES BOWIE, Md., April 9. E. Arlington, previous to the running of the first race, purchased the two-year-old Janetta, a chestnut filly by Trojan— Robietta, and she raced in his colors and interests T. J. Healey and James Fitzsimmons are expected at Havre de Grace tomorrow with a division of the Wilson-Salmon stable and the Belair Stud. The latter stable wintered at Aqueduct. Jockey F. Stevens will do the riding for the Belair Stable. Carl Wiedemanns stable, in charge of Tom Brown, according to recent advices will ship to Havre de Grace from Miami. Starter James Milton will officiate at the spring meeting at Thorncliffe Park, which opens June 1. Though it was reported after his last race that Sea Sand was injured and decidedly lame, he is named to race again tomorrow. Jockey J. Williams was an arrival of the day. Hourmore was claimed by Sam Most for ,500. J. H. Steffen claimed Rupee for 32.000. Maurice Hayman who conducts the Hay-man Special to the Bowie track from Baltimore every day will have a special car on the Havre de Grace race train for the opening day of that meeting next Wednesday. This car will be attached to the train leaving Baltimore at one oclock. A R. Ixnvden and James Clark partners in the ownership of the Queen City Stable of Toronto were visitors of the day. They came to Maryland to inspect the jumpers] that R. EL "Specs" Crawford is handling for the stable. The silks will be shown at the Havre de Grace meeting.
