QUEBEC DERBY AT DORVAL Newly Established Race Announced By President of Dorval Jockey Club. HAVRE DE GRACE, Md.. April 18— Fred Richard, president of the Dorval Jockey Club, announced before his return to Montreal that the Dorval Jockey Club would continue racing under the auspices of the Canadian Racing Associations and, in addition to the program, he has decided to give a Derby which will be known as the Quebec Derby and will carry a value of ,000. The distance of the race will be one mile and a sixteenth. Horsemen were somewhat surprised at this announcement in view of the fact that past meetings held at Dorval have not been a financial success and it was the unanimous opinion of the horsemen that the Dorval Jockey Club was to be congratulated on this latest offering, this being the only three-year-old stake in the province of Quebec-Entry blanks are now in the hands of the printer. *
