i COL BRADLEY RE-ELECTED Thoroughbred Horse Association Beturns Chief Executive to Office for Third Time. LEXINGTON, Ky., May 1.— Approximately one hundred members of the Tohorougbbred Horse Association showed their appreciation of Colonel Edward Riley Bradley at the annual meeting of the organization held Wednesday, night in the Palm Room of, the Phoenix Hotel. Colonel Bradley was returned to office for the third consecutive time. He is the first sportsman to serve three terms. Under Colonel Bradleys able direction the organization has flourished in the past several years. A. B. Hancock was elected vice-president, succeeding Thomas Piatt, who had filled the office for two years. Thomas B. Cromwell was re-elected secretary-treasurer, an office that he has filled since the organization of the association in 191G. Messrs. E. R. Bradley, A. B. Hancock, A. B. Gallaher and W. E. Caskey, Jr., were elected to the board of directors for terms of three years each. The other eight members of the board are: John S. Barbee. C. H. Berryman, Desha Breckinridge, T. P. Hayes, C. Bruce Head. Hal Price Headley, T. C. McDowell and Thomas Piatt. The members gave Colonel Bradley a rising vote of thanks for the splendid work accomplished under his direction. Out of respect to the memory of the late Major August Belmont, who died December 10 in New York, the members stood in silence for one minute. Distinguished guests who spoke to the members after dinner were Assistant United States Attorney General Rush Holland, who left immediately for Washington, where his resignation from office took effect Thursday; Colonel John P. Sullivan, one of the leading citizens of New Orleans; Clarence Hailey, head of the Hailey Bloodstock Agency of London, England; Edward Crun-den of St. Louis and Charles S. Marvin, state banking commissioner for Kentucky. ♦
