LAURAM saved ground when entering the stretch and finished gamely. BISSELL could never improve his position and was tiring at the end. ROYAL JANE finished resolutely. UNCLE ABE was crowded to the fence on the first turn, but recovered quickly, then was forced wide on the stretch turn and tired. BESSIE HOPE quit early.
