Won easily; second and third driving. DISPLAY moved up on the outside in the first eighth and forced FORETELL along at a rapid pace until rounding the far turn, then took the lead and drew away in the last sixteenth and was easing up at the end. FOUETEI.L. a rapid lieginner, showed the most early speed but tired. GRAND BEY ran well ami outgamed UTAKER LASS in the stretch drive. The latter was always prominent. Won driving; second and third the same ll-lKKiMEN was waited with until in the last turn of the field, then moved up rapidly when called on and, passing FRANK FIRST, outfin shed him in the final drive. FRANK FIRST, a grand prospect, jumped well and, after racing "lit CKI.E into defeat in the first mile, hung on with great pins hi hs when the winner challenged. CHUCKLE set the early pace on sufferance and was tiring at the end. TREVISCOT finished gamely. ROI CRAIG was puled up after taking the twelfth jump and GUlFFWOill !■■ bis rider at the eighth. ROCK MAN began well, but was outpaced and was all over the track in the stretch and finished next tli» ins.de rail, where the going was a bit muddy. COEIR DK LION began slowly and was shuffled b:i k in the first eighth, but cliaed a big gap with a rush after entering the home stretch and tired after passing GYMKHANA SIN LADY finished very fast. GYMKHANA pasaed the leaders with a rush at the head of the rtreUtl. but tired in the last eighth. TOD KKNKSiilt ran well and was next to the inside rail in the muddy going for the entire race.
